Bookish Gift Guide

Bookish Gift Guide

Hello everyone and welcome back to the blog! To get into the holiday spirit, it is time for the annual gift guide blog post. I have linked the previous gift guides at the bottom for even more ideas. So, let’s get into it!

I wanted to go something different this year than just the typical bookish merch or kindle accessories. I wanted to highlight specific small businesses that I have ordered from and love, or just highlighting small businesses in general.

I am a sucker for artwork. I love decorating my apartment with meaningful pieces of art that also represent my favorite series, books, or just a simple quote that I love. This is a perfect idea for that friend who is obsessed with a series, has empty wall space or starting a gallery wall. I recommend checking out these Etsy stores for some bookish wall art. They have all the top series to choose from.

You could even go the extra mile and frame it for them or leave it up to your friend to pick out a cute frame!

Here are some cute artwork shops I've personally bought from.

For a more personalized gift, I saw on Etsy a library sign. It’s a wooden sign that will say something like “Maisi’s Library.” It was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. I’ve included a picture of it below. This would be so cute displayed on a floating shelf or bookshelf décor. There are so many colors to choose from.

This shop also has a “books read this year” counter which for anyone who sets a reading goal, this is perfect. There are so many color options to choose from, and again, this is perfect to put on a bookshelf.

Each seems very customizable!

One thing I’ve loved recently is the vases that look like books. I see them at the bookstore all the time. I was actually gifted one this year as a wedding gift, and it’s from a local smalltown bookstore. I have a Wizard of Oz themed one, but I’ve seen ones for a lot of classics like Little Women, Emma, Pride and Prejudice, etc.

I think this is such a cute bookshelf addition, especially when paired with some fake flowers. It would really elevate a shelf.

A little last minute addition I found while browsing Etsy is this cutie little embroidered bookmark. I think this is so adorable and such a cute gift for a reader. You can never have enough bookmarks.
