Christmas Book Recommendations
Hello everyone and welcome back to the blog! It's that time of year again! I've been so excited for the Christmas season. Today, I wanted to give my Christmas book recommendations for this cozy time of year. So, let's get into it!
When I think of a Christmas book my mind automatically goes to the Hallmark romance novels. I try to read at least 1-2 of these during this time of year.
Romance:
- Merry Little Meet Cute by Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone
- Window Shopping by Tessa Bailey
- Holiday Swap by Maggie Knox
If you're looking for something different, as in a page-turning thriller, these are my recommendations.
Thriller:
- The Christmas Guest by Peter Swanson
- One by One by Ruth Ware
- The Family Game by Catherine Steadman
But if you are not in the mood for a romance or a thriller, I highly recommend trying out a fantasy novel.
Fantasy:
- The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien
- Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien
- A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas (Novella to the ACOTAR series)
Wanting to get into the Christmas mood does not always have to mean a cheesy rom-com book. Especially if you are a mood reader. I can't just read a romance novel whenever I want, I have to be in the mood. Same with fantasy books and thrillers. While I primarily gravitate towards a thriller, there are times when I want to change it up.Hopefully something off this list will intrigue you!
